Donor Designated Funds can be created and named by a donor. Such funds are usually established to benefit one specific charitable organization. The Board will honor the designation of the donor as long as the designated organization continues to operate and provide service in keeping with the donors wishes. If an organization ceases to exist, programs with similar services will be supported to honor the donors intent. By permanently directing the fund's resources to a specific nonprofit organization, it is easier to handle the administration of a Donor Designated Fund, which can be established with a gift of $10,000 or more. This type of fund may appeal to someone who wants to provide lasting support for an organization that may not have an endowment fund, or may not have experience investing endowment funds. The Artesian Fund program can be used to create a Donor Designated Fund. WCCF
