Field of Interest Funds A Field of Interest Fund is perfect for a contributor who does not want to select individual nonprofit organizations, but who has preferences about program areas, needs, or even geographical areas. This type of fund often appeals to others who share the same values, and they may choose to make additional gifts to the named fund. The fund is named by the donor, who designates the fund's special focus. Examples include: arts and culture, education, environment and conservation, health and human services, community development, historic preservation. The donor can also select a specific region, or community, within Waukesha County, for the fund's emphasis. A Field of Interest Fund can be established with a gift of $25,000 or more. The Artesian Fund program can be used to create a Field of Interest Fund. WCCF
