Latest Newsletter Roles of the Foundation Grantmaking
As a community foundation, the Foundation gives preference to proposals that respond to important needs within its geographic area of emphasis--Waukesha County. At this time, the Directors do not foresee grants being made to needs outside of Waukesha County using Community Grants Funds. Grants will not be made to individuals or for religious, governmental or political purposes. Endowment Funds
Project Funds The Foundation also manages assets for major community projects like public art and community libraries and recreation facilities. Contributions to such projects are held in short-term investment vehicles until payments are needed for the project costs. Project funds are non-endowed, not intended to establish permanent charitable investment funds. WCCF
